              Cancellation Policy: 
               
              We have a NO CANCELLATION policy. Once you make your vacation 
              rental reservation and confirm it with your deposit check, AND the 
              rental agreement is signed by both the property owner and the tenant, 
              your rental is binding and in effect. There are no refunds! However, 
              if a cancellation is necessary due to an emergency all attempts 
              will be made to re-rent. If successful your deposit will be returned 
              less a $150 administration fee.

              things to do in and around Lake Placid: 
               
              Visit John Brown's Farm the home and grave of abolitionist John 
              Brown. 115 John Brown Road Lake Placid, NY 12946 (518) 523-3900. 
              Brewster Peninsula Nature Trails Peninsula Way, Lake Placid, NY 
              Easy walking trails for the entire family but trails can be very 
              rooty in places ...so watch your step. Views of the water of Lake 
              Placid. 
              Olympic Ski Jump Complex in Lake Placid. Visitors to this year-round 
              training and competition site can watch jumps off the towers or 
              flips and twists into the pool (in season). Take a ski lift and 
              then an elevator to the top of the Olympic ski jumps! The views 
              are spectactular and you can stand right where the ski jumpers are 
              before they make their jump! 
              Go Ice Skating - In downtown Lake Placid are several indoor skating 
              rinks, so check out the times when it's open to the public and go 
              skating! OR, you can go and see when the Olympians are training 
              and you can watch! Either way, it's worth the trip and parking is 
              free if you can find a spot in the lot. 
              The Olympic Center Museum, located right on Main Street, should 
              be on any visitors list when you are in Lake Placid. Several exhibits 
              from both the 1932 and 1980 Winter are on display telling the story 
              of the Olympics in Lake Placid. It is open daily from 10:00 till 
              5:00.
